How to Reset a VW Polo Service Light

The service light on a Volkswagen Polo reminds the driver that scheduled maintenance is due. After completing the required maintenance, such as an oil change or inspection, the service reminder can usually be reset through the instrument cluster. Method 1: Reset the Service Light Using the Instrument Cluster

Press and hold the trip reset button on the instrument cluster.
