How to Reset B Service Mercedes

Service B is a routine maintenance service recommended every 20,000 miles or 2 years, whichever comes first (after Service A). It includes:

Synthetic motor oil replacement
Oil filter replacement
Cabin dust/combination filter replacement
Brake fluid change (every 2 years)
Checking all fluids, brakes, and systems
Tire inspection and rotation
Maintenance service indicator reset

✅ How to Reset Service B on Most Mercedes Models (Manually)

Note: The steps may vary slightly by model and year. Below is a general method for vehicles with a steering wheel with OK and arrow buttons.

📍 Steps:

Turn Key to Position 1
(Do NOT start the engine. Press once if it’s a Start/Stop button.)
Use Arrow Buttons to Access the Trip Menu
On the left side of the steering wheel, press the left or right arrows until you see “Trip” or “Mileage” on the display.
Press and Hold the Call & OK Buttons (10 Seconds)
Simultaneously press the green phone (Call) button and the OK button on the steering wheel for about 5–10 seconds until the "Vehicle Data" menu appears.
Scroll to “ASSYST PLUS”
Use the arrow buttons to navigate and press OK to select.
Select “Full Service”
Then select “Confirm Service” > choose “Service B”.
Confirm Oil Grade
If prompted, confirm the correct oil grade (usually 229.5 or 229.51, depending on your model).
Select “Yes” to Confirm
Press OK to confirm the reset. A message will show “Service Confirmed”.

🔁 Alternate Reset for Models Without Steering Buttons

If your Mercedes doesn’t have steering wheel buttons or uses a COMAND or MBUX system, the reset may be done via the infotainment system or with a diagnostic tool (e.g., MB STAR or OBD2 scanner).
