A wheel hub is the central component of a vehicle’s wheel assembly. It connects the wheel to the vehicle and allows the wheel to rotate smoothly while supporting the weight of the vehicle. It helps the vehicle’s anti-lock braking system detect how fast each wheel is rotating. The ABS system uses this information to prevent wheel lock-up during hard braking.
