BMW 3 series tyre pressure front and back

Maintaining correct tyre pressure ensures safety, performance, and fuel efficiency. The recommended pressure depends on model, tyre size, and load. Below are typical values:

BMW 3 Series G20 (2019–present) – with 17–19 inch wheels:

  • Normal Load (driver + 1 passenger): Front 2.4 bar (35 psi), Rear 2.6 bar (38 psi)

  • Full Load (5 passengers + luggage): Front 2.6 bar (38 psi), Rear 2.9 bar (42 psi)

BMW 3 Series F30 (2012–2018) – with 16–18 inch wheels:

  • Normal Load: Front 2.2 bar (32 psi), Rear 2.4 bar (35 psi)

  • Full Load: Front 2.5 bar (36 psi), Rear 2.8 bar (41 psi)

M Sport or staggered setups may require higher rear pressure due to wider tyres and power distribution.

Where to Find Tyre Pressure Info: Check the sticker inside the driver’s door frame (B-pillar), the owner’s manual, or in the iDrive system (Vehicle Status > Tyre Pressure Monitor).

Tips: Always check pressures when tyres are cold. Use a digital gauge for accuracy. Check monthly. After adjusting, reset the TPMS in your vehicle’s system.
